Dropped Tail Blue Bellied fence lizards drop their tails if they find themselves cornered of threatened. Even the best of us are not always prepared to outgrow and loose parts of ourselves, just as this lizard is not ready to part with his tail.

I find myself creating with the hands of a child, and the mind of an adult. These figurative sculptures are frequently reminiscent of childhood nostalgia and a general safe space. I work to help the viewer feel connected in the confines of a mental health, queer, and trans-safe space that allows anyone to feel their most authentic self.
